Earth Day began in 1970 as a call to care for our planet—and that call continues today. Here in Kingston, we celebrate by coming together as neighbors to care for the land, water, and one another.
At Kingston Land Trust, we believe meaningful environmental change starts with community—restoring trails, stewarding local lands, growing food, and creating spaces where everyone belongs. We’re working toward a future rooted in conservation, ecological restoration, and shared responsibility for this place we call home.
Together, we can grow resilience, deepen our relationships to the land, and strengthen community power right here in Kingston.

ATTENDEE DETAILS
Guests with mobility challenges should park at the Red Fox Ravine parking lot. For everyone else, limited parking will be available at designated lots in the surrounding Wilbur neighborhood on a first-come-first-serve basis at this event. RSVP to receive further details. We highly encourage attendees to carpool, walk or bike!
Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Bring blankets and low yard chairs to lounge in the quarry, watch the performances, and enjoy!
ACTIVITIES
Face painting by Nelle + dedicated kids area with seedling activity & childcare support.
Special guided tours through the day of the new Red Fox Ravine trail with KLT Land Steward, Tom O'Dowd.
MUSIC
Pablo Shine Latin Jazz Band: led by local Puerto Rican painter and conguero Pablo Shine, who has a particular interest in folkloric afro-caribbean percussion, and featuring the congas/percussion, upright bass, and vibraphone, this Kingston-based staple plays both originals and standards and will make you move and feel a soothing caribbean breeze!
DJ Domo: Domo is know for creating high-energy, dance-focused atmospheres. He rocks the dance floor with deep house, latin house and tracks that will be sure to get you movin and groovin!
