A hands-on, family-friendly event with environmental presentations, tours, activities, snacks and more! All ages and abilities welcome.About this Event
Allow us to walk you through the day:
- Park at The'í:tselíya - Health & Community Centre along Chilliwack River Road and follow our team members to our Event Hub along the trail
- Take a tour through our environmental restoration work and learn how you can support local fish and wildlife
- Plant local trees and shrubs to help restore our natural habitat and improve biodiversity
- Participate in a juvenile salmon release into Chilliwack Creek at the local Skowkale Fish Hatchery
- Attend entertaining presentations from local partners about salmon lifecycles, at home recycled waste activities, how health and wellness are connected to the natural world, and much more!
- Enjoy a snack and coffee (provided) while your kids enjoy running around the outdoor Play Zone!
All ages and abilities are welcome and we encourage you to invite others to the event. We want to celebrate with you and work towards a more sustainable future!
