Overview
Celebrate Earth Day with KoKo NYC! Bring your friends and family, and join us in welcoming spring at the KoKo Lot and garden!
Join us on Saturday, April 25th from 1PM - 4PM at the KoKo Lot to celebrate Earth Day! You'll have the opportunity to use tools to help us take apart old projects, update the garden, clean and organize the space, and more!
We will be joined by our friends and neighbors at Heritage Foods to keep everyone nourished while we build, garden, and help take care of the KoKo Lot and surrounding blocks.
All ages are welcome, but waivers are required for anyone under 18. And any visitors to the Lot 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
This is a great opportunity for curious neighbors and the families of KoKo kids to get acquainted with the Lot, our programming, our tools, and some of our team!
Important information about visiting the KoKo Lot:
- Please be sure to dress for the weather and wear closed-toed, durable shoes.
- There are port-a-potties onsite for bathroom use.
- Please bring a pre-filled water bottle and snacks in case you get hungry while at the Lot.
- The KoKo Lot is nut free.
The KoKo Lot is located at 440 19th Street (between 8th Avenue and Prospect Park West), Brooklyn.
Only one RSVP is needed per family, but please for each participant under 18 years old.
