About this Event
The Miami Design District invites you to a special Earth Day Tour showcasing how thoughtful landscape design has transformed this vibrant neighborhood into a model of urban resilience and ecological innovation. Join us on a Landscape Design Tour of our Urban Canopy.
Led by experts from Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and Island Planning Corporation, the tour highlights the District’s evolution into a lush urban oasis with over 575 trees across 55 species, plus orchids and epiphytes. Following the tour, participants are invited to experience a new site-specific art installation by Joyce Billet, featuring botanical sculptures in the Melin Atrium.
