About this Event
Earth Day 2026 marks a powerful moment of unity, action, and investment in the future of the East Central neighborhood. Hosted by Pilgrim’s Progress Community Development Corporation and the PBC Green Team, this year’s celebration will serve as both a community-wide Earth Day event and the official kickoff of our Summer Youth Works Green Workforce Program.
Earth Day began in 1970 when millions of Americans mobilized to demand cleaner air and safer water. Today, more than one billion people across the globe participate annually. In Fort Wayne, we are carrying that legacy forward by placing youth leadership, environmental justice, and neighborhood revitalization at the center of the movement.
