This one's for all the early risers that like to "wake up with the Allegheny!" We'll meet at AO at 6:30 am to load up boats on the trailers and head to Kinzua Dam to start. After unloading and a quick safety speech, we'll paddle roughly 9 miles back to AO, which includes the rowdy spot (Class I) behind United.
This stretch of river typically takes 3-4 hours with a leisure paddle. Bringing your own kayak is always welcome ($20 shuttle, free if you purchased your boat at AO), rentals are available if needed ($40/kayak).
