Geared towards new and emerging writers, this event will feature discussion on how to pursue publication and build a career in the Irish arts sector, utilising practical advice from those who have done so.
Short storyist and author Colin Barrett, author Louise Nealon, and poet and essayist Gustav Parker Hibbett will each offer their unique perspectives on how things have developed since they first forayed into the Irish literature scene and how they would now navigate the publishing industry.
The panellists will be in discussion with Kasandra Ferguson, managing editor of . This publication from Dublin City University highlights writers earlier in their careers, with their opportunities and events focused on bridging the gap between writerly craft and professional acumen.
Doors open at 1:45 p.m. The bookshop will be open until 5 p.m. for you to pick up copies of the panellists' publications! All proceeds from the evening will support the production of Volume 2 of The Belvedere.
