We’re delighted to invite you to our final event of the year — an evening talk followed by festive socialising to celebrate the season!
🎤 Guest Speaker: Roger Birchall, SSE Renewables
Roger will present on “Survey Techniques and Approaches for Offshore Wind Farms”, exploring the geophysical methods used in offshore investigations and how the data informs geotechnical design, engineering decisions, and environmental consenting processes.
📍 Venue Details:
The event will be held at The View in The Forum, Norwich. On-site parking is available for £3.50, and limited free street parking can be found nearby.
🎟️ Attendance:
In-person attendance is limited to 30 guests and requires a ticket. Please book early to secure your place.
🕖 Schedule:
- Arrival: from 7:00 PM
- Talk begins promptly at 7:15 PM
- Christmas social to follow the talk (in-person only)
💻 Online Option:
For those unable to attend in person, the talk will be streamed live via Microsoft Teams (link below). No ticket is required. Please also note that the festive social is exclusive to in-person attendees.
