You are invited to an indigenous celebration of Life and community. Dia de Los muertos is a time to pause and reflect on the lives of our ancestors, family and friends who have crossed over into the spirit realm. Come join us as we honor our beloved spirit family together.
Day & Time: Sunday Nov 2nd 2:30-5pm
doors are open come when you can as you are.
What you will receive: Indigenous Wisdom, Flowers, hand poured candle, your own Alebrije, spirit card readings and sacred Cacao.
The Schedule:
2:30-3:00 Opening Cacao ceremony. Learn about the cultural significance of Dia De Los Muertos and place your loved ones memorial on the Ofrenda.
3:00 -3:30 Story telling - share stories of our loved ones, ancestors and relations who we are honoring.
3:30-4:30 Candle making and Alebrije creation. Craft your own ofrenda items to take home.
4:30-5:00 Socialize, Snack and Spirit card readings available.
What you will need:
An open heart & creative mind.
Bring photos or memorabilia of your loved ones i.e, family, friends, animal companions, Ancestors.
Any art supplies you may want to use, we will have art supplies present as well.
Comfortable clothes, to craft and relax in.
