Día de Alegría is a day dedicated to transforming the hardship our community experienced following the June 10, 2025, ICE raid into an opportunity for joy, community, and mutual support. One year later, our community continues to recover from the social, emotional, and financial impacts caused by these unnecessary actions. While no family can truly recover from the pain of being forcibly separated from loved ones, we choose to focus on what we can do: support one another, move forward together, and find strength and joy in our shared resilience.
Join us in supporting the businesses of South Omaha’s 24th Street corridor. Whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or shopping with local merchants, the 24th Street business district has something for everyone. Your support helps strengthen our community and celebrate the spirit that continues to bring us together.
