Eclectic Funny Provocative Cabaret
Bette and Barry! Joni and James! Marvin and Tammy! Johnny and June! They made beautiful music together, some broke up & wrote hit songs about it! Twin Cities favorites Dane Stauffer, Erin Schwab, and Jay Fuchs will leave no tune unturned until we sing and celebrate these and more musical power couples, with a healthy dose of sequins and soul. Come and celebrate our “extra hour” Sunday, November 6th.

Dane Stauffer teaches Yoga, Voice and Improvisation, writes plays, and records CDs on the side. He recently performed in the critically acclaimed Iron Kisses, and was a smash at Ruby's Cabaret's "When a Man loves a Diva." An alum of Children's Theatre School of Minneapolis, New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and the Playwrights Center, he's been featured on KTCA/PBS Technical Difficulties, and the Emmy award-winning American Scream: Dudley Riggs First 40 Years, and more recently on MyNetworks telenovellas Fashion House (with Bo Derek and Morgan Fairchild) and Wicked ,Wicked Games (with Tatum O'Neal.)
Erin Schwab knows how to work a song, and an audience. She’s built that up over a career in musical theater with the likes of Tina ‘n’ Tony’s Wedding and the national tour of School House Rock Live! That experience allows her to tackle just about anything under the sun, from covers of tunes by the Police to a selection from Avenue Q to originals based on her years as a working performer. Meanwhile, her warm approach and ability to work a crowd can be heard at local gigs at places like Hell’s Kitchen, The Town House, or her album, Martini’s & Cleavage.
Jay Fuchs is a prominent music educator and a popular entertainer, music director, singer, piano player, composer, author and bandleader. Dr. Jay holds a Ph.D. and M.A. degree in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Minnesota (studied composition with Pulitzer Prize winning composer Dominick Argento), along with a B.A. degree in Vocal Performance from Minnesota State University in Moorhead, MN. Jay is very active as an entertainer, performing over 100 gigs each year. He founded and directed the popular Twin Cities’ band Metro Jam. Jay and his dynamic partner Erin Schwab, entertain audiences all over the world. Jay is also a “first call” music director for many productions in the Twin Cities, including major awards shows, theater productions and corporate events.
