Our band, Hard Rain, is the "house band", and we are joined by solo artists, full bands, and instrumentalists throughout the course of the day.

What is the Dylanfest?
The Dylanfest is an 8-hour celebration of the music of Bob Dylan. We started it in 1991 and have been holding the event ever since. The show started with our band, The Management, and a few friends doing 4 sets of Bob Dylan songs and has grown to an 8-hour concert with around 60 musicians performing over 60 Dylan songs. Our band, Hard Rain, is the "house band", and we are joined by solo artists, full bands and instrumentalists throughout the course of the day.
When and where is the 2024 Dylanfest?
May 25, 2024. Doors open at NOON, show runs from 12:30-8pm. The show is at the Torrance Cultural Art Center on the Torino Plaza. The address is 3330 Civic Center Dr, Torrance, CA 90503.
Are all ages welcome?
Yes. Please, for insurance purposes, NO PETS.
Is the event inside or outside?
The event is outside. There will be some shaded areas; bring a hat and sunscreen so you can enjoy the beautiful California sunshine! Bring a jacket for later...In case of rain, the event will move inside.
Will there be food and drink available for purchase or should I bring my own?
There will be food and drinks (non-alcoholic drinks, water & sodas) plus beer and wine available for a reasonable price. The concessions are provided by Chef Michael Shafer of the acclaimed restaurant, The Depot. Please do not bring in any outside food or beverages. Bring ID if you plan on purchasing alcohol. No alcohol will be served without proper ID. FOOD AND DRINKS ARE CASH ONLY.
What about seating?
There will be some tables and chairs for seating. You may bring a beach chair if you like!
What about parking?
There is ample, free parking in the Torrance Cultural Arts Center parking lot.
Can I buy tickets the day of the event? YES
Do you have T-Shirts and CDs and DVDs?
Yes we do! We will have t-shirts, mugs, and our highly-acclaimed CDs available the day of the show. We also have a fantastic 1 1/2 hour DVD of the 2009 Dylanfest and a 2-Volume DVD of the 2015 Dylanfest available for purchase. Thanks for asking!
