About this Event
Maude’s, one of the longest-running lesbian bars opening in1966 in San Francisco, was a pillar of the community during a time where lesbian spaces were condemned and criminalized. Last Call At Maude's, by Paris Poirier, follows the bar and the dykes who loved it in its final days, while exploring the history and significance of lesbian bar culture. As always, in typical LHA fashion, tickets are suggested donation only, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Doors at 5:30pm. Film starts promptly at 6:00pm. Run time is 77 minutes. Snacks provided. Masking is not required, but highly encouraged. Browsing LHA materials will be restricted due to the presence of food.
