Welcome to the DVAA Art Opening : Sound + Vision + Preview of our new Space! Join us on Wed Aug 14 2024 from 4-6 PM for a special event at CultureWorks Greater Philadelphia.
Get a sneak peek of our new space while enjoying a showcase of amazing art from local artists. Sound + Vision highlights artworks that incorporate or evoke sonic elements. Visual artwork has many of the same formal components as music and performance. It has rhythm and composition. It can be loud or quiet, chaotic or orderly. Most importantly, it is expressive. Many of the works in this exhibition directly reference specific songs or genres of music.
