If you want to truly immerse yourself in Cincy Culture then you absolutely should check out some of the region’s signature events. On Labor Day weekend Riverfest, AKA Western & Southern/WEBN Fireworks, is a perfect example of one of these events. The WEBN Fireworks, as the locals call it, is a festival mainstay in Cincy.Originally the festival started in 1977 as a fireworks display to celebrate the 10th anniversary of local rock radio station, WEBN. It has since grown into an all day, both sides of the river, multiple city festival, and one of the largest firework displays in the midwest. Enjoy planned activities during the day, like live music and the Rubber Duck Regatta.
At 9pm the fireworks show by award winning pyro experts, Rozzi Family Fireworks starts. This internationally recognized local company has been around since 1895 and has built a reputation for quality and innovation. The fireworks show is always set to music that you can hear on, of course, WEBN (102.7FM).
