Dustin Dale Gaspard is back in Burns Lake... and this time, he’s coming in with some serious momentum. If you caught him here last year, you already know what he brings: raw energy, powerhouse vocals, bluesy harmonica, and a deep connection to his Cajun roots. If you missed him… this is your second shot... and he’s leveled up.
Since his last visit, Dustin broke onto a massive TV audience as a standout contestant on The Voice, turning heads with a performance in Cajun French that set him apart instantly. That moment kicked things into high gear.
He’s been touring hard across the US and Canada, landing bigger stages, iconic rooms, and growing audiences along the way, including stops in legendary music cities like Austin. His sound, a mix of Roots, Blues, Americana, and Louisiana “Swamppop”, is evolving fast, but still grounded in the stories and traditions that make it hit home.
At the heart of it all is storytelling. Songs from his EP Avec le Courant trace the journey of his Acadian ancestors, including the story of his grandmother’s exile to Louisiana. It’s personal, it’s powerful, and it’s delivered with the kind of conviction you can’t fake.
And despite all that momentum, he’s still choosing to play rooms like this, where the music is close, the stories land, and the audience is part of the experience.
