About this Event
Join the New York Chamber Choir for an evening of music for choir and organ, culminating in Maurice Duruflé's Requiem.
Duruflé wrote masterfully for organ and voices alike, and nowhere is this more apparent than his Requiem. He seamlessly intertwines old and new musical styles to create a work that feels both fresh and timeless.
The organ is an hugely versatile instrument, capable of producing a staggering variety of sounds and colors. We're privileged to sing with Brick Church's stunning French-style organ, accompanied by organist Bethany Dame, who currently serves as the Organ Scholar at St. Thomas Fifth Avenue.
Ticketing information: online ticket sales for in-person attendance end at 2PM ET on the day of the performance. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door. (Livestream tickets will remain available online until the end of the event.)
We want our music to be accessible to everyone; if ticket price is an issue for you, contact the organizers and we'll do our best to help.
A note on the livestream: to stream the concert, you MUST get a "livestream" ticket here on Eventbrite (pay-what-you-can). You'll receive the streaming link in your ticket confirmation.
