This is the annual Dunwoody July 4th Parade … the largestIndependence Day Parade in GA.
The gathering place for the CGCC is in the parking lot of All
Saints Catholic Church, 2443 Mt Vernon Rd, Dunwoody, GA.
This is the same marshalling/gathering point as in previous
years. Our location in the Church parking area will also be the
same as in previous years. The parade (about three miles long)
kicks off at 0900 and I recommend everyone be there no later
than 0745 as the traffic starts to get very heavy and streets start
to close the closer it gets to start time. I know all of you like to go
somewhere for lunch after the parade but the local Boy Scouts
have a very good BBQ sandwich lunch at the gathering point at
the end of the Parade and you can buy tickets right there. The
theme for the Parade this year is Patriotism!
There will be a lot of Veterans looking for rides with us and
hopefully we will more cars than Veterans!
