"World building can be tricky. Depending on how detailed you want to get in your adventure, you could spend endless hours breaking down to the minutia of every aspect of your world, or you could try to rush it and have plot holes and inconsistencies which lead to a less satisfying overall adventure experience. Then there’re the characters the players bring to the table. How do you create a storyline flexible enough to incorporate the unique characters your players create so they can feel completely immersed in the story and adventure you’ve created for them? Believe it or not there are tricks you can learn to make world building easier. Take it from someone who’s spent far too long agonising over how a map looks and why the people of a mythical land won’t say particular words.
Come spend a session with published author L.B. Holden (Succession Series: Recovery already out) to unpack, explore and troubleshoot common problems DMs and authors alike face when they’re creating a whole new world full of adventure and intrigue."

This event is an experiment in collaboration with published L.B Holden in regards to the evolution of how she can expand and evolve Worldbuilding Workshops to accomidate the community.
This is the second time this workshop has ran, but it is all about beta testing to see how we can make it a reoccuring event here at Unplugged Games, so any feedback is always helpful If the workshop proves successful, then L.B Holden may charge for subsequent sessions.

About the Author:
L.B. HOLDEN was born in SE Queensland, Australia, as the youngest of five children. Her early enthusiasm for reading inspired her to start writing as a young teenager; however, she put aside her half-completed work after meeting her partner and began her journey of study, work, and raising children.
After a break of 15 years, LB’s passion for writing remained. She revived her original stories, finding that her life experiences enabled her to add more nuance to her characters and more intricate layers to the original plotlines.
Recovery is LB’s first completed novel from the Succession Series.
