All aboard for the May edition of Duluth 101, as Aaron Bransky presents a deep dive into "Duluth on Rails." As a city located "where rail meets sail," the historical importance of railroads in shaping Duluth's progress and success cannot be understated. In addition, as a city with six hundred feet of vertical elevation, Duluth's reliance on rail-based transportation has not been limited to trains—think street cars, and Duluth's two(!) inclines. Social time at 5:30 pm; presentation begins at 6. Free event!
About our presenter: Aaron Bransky is a local attorney whose enthusiasm for rail travel dates back many years.
