There is a $4 parking fee at the trailhead which can be paid by credit card at the trailhead, unless you have a Forest Service Pass. State Park passes are not accepted.From the parking lot, the trail heads down a series of stairs. There are wooden boardwalks and stairs occasionally along the way. Most of the trail is wide and flat with switchbacks.
As you wind your way down to the bottom of the ravine, you can hear the sound of waterfalls. The first one can be viewed from the trail, the main falls are further down and can be viewed from a platform.
