Per Russell Dobbs:This year we will be racing at Alpine Slot Cars in Helen Ga. They have the Daytona we like racing these cars on. Will be the same format as before. Will post more later. This is just a heads up.
This year the race will be held on Dec 14. With being close to Christmas and Helen being a great location for the family at Christmas and all the decorations. We have made arrangements for Santa Clause to be there. He will be there for all the kids that show at the track and family’s.
I have not seen any track so family oriented with so many kids.
Once again, guys, this race is to remember drivers and friends we have lost, and to let newer drivers get introduced to who they were.
As much as I hate to say it, this year we have a few more name to remember.
I would like to say thank you to ALPINE for letting us bring our show to this amazing location this year! Big thanks to the partners that have stepped on board this year….Nick with SLOT KRAFT… MID AMERICA, PARMA ( that has supported this from the beginning)
Atlanta Slot Car Raceway, Mick Brown with SALVINOS JR MODELS and Terry Kelly stepped on board again from KELLY RACING
Already have a good head count and look forward to everyone showing to have a great time with nothing on the line but fun and fellowship!
