ABOUT THIS SHOW
Duke Concept Presents: CALLEDOUT MUSIC ~BEST DAYS OF OUR LIVES TOUR~
British music producer, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Hampshire, England, Samuel Nwachukwu - who performs under the pseudonym: CalledOut Music, is a symbol of hope and excellence in the 21st century. Embodying years of work and excellence, CalledOut Music has become one of the most sought after names gaining international recognition rather quickly.
CALLEDOUT MUSIC
Born April 18, 1995 and raised in Nigeria, he moved to the United Kingdom with his family when he was 12 years old. As a multifaceted artist, Samuel first displayed his God-given talent and passion for music at the tender age of 7 in his home church. After producing original songs for musicals for several years, his music career kicked off in 2016 with his debut single, “Working on me”. Since then, CalledOutMusic has released a vast and diverse musical collection and three successful albums, in 2018, 2020 and 2022 respectively. His music captures the essence of faith and hope, spreading joy and positivity to all who come in contact with him.
Through his interaction with his ‘Triibe’ as he fondly calls his fanbase, CalledOut Music has submerged fans across various geographical, demographic and socio-cultural backgrounds. This is also showcased in the diversity, range and style his music captures. He has worked closely on productions with the likes of Danny Duncan and Hillsplay thus furthering his career up to his latest EP project “Retro Worship”. CalledOutMusic has also featured on tracks with several artists - including MOBO Award winners Triple O and Guvna B, and Stellar nominee, Limoblaze. He has also worked on a number of international collaborations like one with multi-award winner Dena Mwana on “Close To You”.
Following the succession of releasing numerous songs over the past decade CalledOutMusic has managed to acquire a combined tally of over 80 Million streams on Spotify, 25m streams on iTunes and 40m+ views on YouTube with his label HFP Music where his single “My Prayer” became his first song to reach a landslide of over 4.9 million views (a feat only held by a few UK Gospel Artists).
Not only has he managed to establish himself on the “A Step Forward” Gospel chart as #1 for his hit song “I Am Free”, but CalledOutMusic has since been on a trail of triumph including being the “Breakthrough Artist of excellence” at the African Gospel Music and Media Awards 2018; “Best Song” (You’re Mine) at Premier Gospel Awards 2018 where he performed My Prayer along with nominations for “Best Male” and “Best Song” at Tru Life Gospel Awards; and “UK Artist of the Year'' at Gospel Touch Music Awards 2018. In 2019, he was awarded Best Solo Male Video 2019 – Jumpawards, Best Male 2019 - Premier Gospel, Best Video 2019 - Premier Gospel, the Best Gospel Act at UEA Awards 2020 (UK Entertainment Awards), Best Gospel Act at the 2020 MOBO Awards. In 2021, CalledOut Music was awarded TMMP Best Producer, TMMP Best Gospel Artist, ASTEPFWD Male Artist of the Year, Nominee - MOBO Best Gospel Act 2021 and UK Christian Chart Pop No.1 single ‘Celebrate’.
After CalledOutMusic’s first headline concert in London on Nov. 10th 2018, he has gone on to tour Africa (Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya), Europe (Berlin, Hamburg), USA, Canada meeting with tens of thousands of fans collectively at these locations. In recent times, CalledOut Music toured Africa for the third time in October 2024.
