About The Wax Shadows
The Wax Shadows are a little ol' rock duo out of Huntington, WV. The Wax Shadows play original alt-rock with a smidgen of Appalachian punk for spice. They've also been known to play some covers with their stamp on them, generally from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. The Wax Shadows love good rock riffs, melodic hooks, and soulful harmonies. The band released their debut, full-length, vinyl album entitled "Burnout" in 2025. The Wax Shadows consists of Billy Rutherford and Jonathan Bert Hoopes.
