It’s that magical time of year again—the season when we men courageously attempt to buy gifts that our wives don’t immediately return.
So… we proudly announce the Annual Pro Shop Shopping Day at The Pro Shop in Newtown on Thursday, December 4th, 2025.
(Yes, we’re sending this early because some of us need time to emotionally prepare.)
Here’s the highly scientific system:
1. Wives/Girlfriends/Daughters:
Please swing by The Pro Shop sometime in advance and tell Kathleen exactly what you like, love, want, or have strategically hinted at since August.
Bonus points for pointing and saying: “That. I want that.”
2. Kathleen:
She will heroically gather all this intel, curate options, and—bless her soul—organize it for us.
3. Husbands/Guys (a.k.a. the Gift Acquisition Team):
We show up on 12/4, bravely enter the shop, drink whatever Kathleen pours for us, nod wisely, and purchase the pre-approved selections.
Kathleen will wrap everything so it looks like we planned ahead.
Everyone will pretend to believe us.
4. The Outcome:
Wives get exactly what they want.
We avoid holiday panic and gift-buying cluelessness.
Kathleen keeps the local economy thriving.
And everyone gets a drink.
Truly a win-win-win-win.
