Duct tape roses require only a few repetitive steps, and once you get the hang of the first five, the rest of it becomes a habit. You'll start with a simple rose spiral pattern with just two different colors (or more if you're feeling ambitious) and a pencil.

This craft is taught at schools during Prevention Lunch Groups in order to help the youth of tomorrow find better ways to have fun that does not involve the use of cell phones. You don't need any experience to start, just bring yourself and your willingness to learn a new art form! Whether you want your rose to be big or small, the first step is learning how to make a single petal.
