The musicians will be playing unplugged and will be amplified by means of a bespoke custom made Pianophone" its a one of a kind design made here in Margs and has been created by modifying and restoring an old piano.
The sound vibrations from the musicians will be picked up by the piano strings and the sympathetic resonance will then be what is heard, making for a really special experience for audience and musicians. People will be here to really experience and take in the moment, an ode to listening... real listening.
A portion of ticket sales will go toward educating Dalit caste street children in Nepal, direct through an independent grass roots education initiative https://freedomthrougheducationnepal.com/ (RAWCS Project 82/2017-18) the remaining funds will go direct to the musicians. There will also be an ethically sourced Kathmandu market stall with genuine handmade incense, prayer flags, brass ornaments, jewelry and other handmade items.
