The Huntington Beach Concours d’Elegance is one of those SoCal weekends that deserves a spot on every Ducatista’s calendar. Set on the lawns of Huntington Beach Central Park next to the library, the Concours is a judged two-day family show built around beautiful machinery, great people, and a good cause. This year’s Sunday show is extra special for our club. The official 2026 Concours program lists Ducati and Vespa as the featured motorcycle marques on Sunday, June 7, 2026, and that lands right in Ducati’s centennial year. From 1926 to 2026, Ducati has spent a full century building race bikes, dream bikes, and a global community of Ducatisti. We are showing up to celebrate all of it.
The Concours itself has deep roots. Founded in 1985, the event was created to raise funds for children’s literacy through the Children’s Resource Center at the Huntington Beach Public Library. Over four decades it has grown into a judged weekend of cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters, and bicycles while continuing to support the local library. Huntington Beach Central Park remains one of the best settings in Orange County to spend a Sunday around iconic machines.
There is also real history behind Ducati’s place on this field. Older Huntington Beach Concours material from 2010 already called out Ducati as one of the Sunday salute marques, so 2026 feels less like a one-off and more like a proper centennial return.
If you’ve been before, you already know the vibe: show bikes on the grass, enthusiasts walking the field all day, and plenty to see beyond our Ducati corner. If you have not, this is the year to come out. A Ducati feature day at the 40th Huntington Beach Concours, in Ducati’s 100th year, is exactly the kind of occasion that should be shared with the whole DROC crew.
