In celebration of Dubuque County Reads, Carnegie-Stout Public Library will show the documentary film "Women of the White Buffalo" on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Aigler Auditorium on the Library's 3rd Floor. Admission is free, but seating is first come, first served.Directed by Deborah Anderson, "Women of the White Buffalo" (2022) is a documentary film featuring first-person interviews with nine Lakota women living on South Dakota reservations who are turning to ancestral values and wisdom to heal generations of trauma in their communities.
