On Wednesday 10 September, Dub Me Always is pleased to present the long awaited return of guest selector/music producer Neville King, who joins host DJ David Katz for a night of diverse reggae gems and unknown dub plates. Born in St James, Jamaica, Neville King is a true veteran of the sound system scene, having enjoyed long residencies in Brixton, Tooting, Streatham and Peckham during the 1970s. A mentor to famous figures such as David Rodigan, Levi Roots and Blacker Dread, among many others, Mr King launched his own label in London in 1976, issuing prime roots reggae material by Prince Lincoln and Jacob Miller, as well as his own sought-after lover’s rock productions. Expect a broad range of rare and familiar vinyl classics and original dub plates!
