About this Event
Parenting can be tough, but you're not alone! Our monthly Family Connections events at DSST: Byers provide parents and guardians an opportunity to build community and explore the topics that matter to you most. Family Connections events are held the third Thursday of each month at the DSST: Byers campus.
This month, Dr. Daniel Hettleman, Ph.D., a former DSST: Byers parent, will talk to us about the teenage brain. Dr. Hettleman is a practicing psychologist providing counseling services to families, children, and adolescents across the Denver area; he is also a faculty member at the University of Denver. We are very excited to welcome him and gain insights into how to best support our children in this stage of their development. There will also be an opportunity for questions and discussion following his talk.
All DSST: Byers families are encouraged to attend! Doors open at 5:30pm; program runs from 6-7:30 pm. Free refreshments, childcare, and language interpretation will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
