Winter is here! Technical diving is at its peak season. The springs are waiting and we're here to bring you some more information on your thermal protection. Join us on Thursday, Jan. 9 for Drysuit Night here at the shop where Ashley Tindall-Dunn, representative for Fourth Element, Stream 2 Sea and Big Blue will stop by to talk about Argonaut Drysuits, undergarments and other important gear for winter.
Drysuits provide passive thermal protection, meaning no water enters the wetsuit. For diving, especially those who are interested in diving for longer and deeper, this can be extremely beneficial.
Ashley Tindall has been in the diving industry for over 20 years and the last 14 as a Regional Sales Manager focusing on product knowledge and training for the Northeast and Florida territories. She represents Fourth Element, Bigblue Dive Lights and Stream2Sea, all excellent brands with unique and superior aspects in their approach to not only exceptional quality and performance but also environmental sustainability.
“Growing up diving and teaching in the waters of Southern California and spending many years in in the Northeast and the Florida Keys, my work’s mission is protecting our wild resources through education and diver engagement. I started out managing a store in CA and have spent over 10 years working with brands that are incredible in functionality and durability and are specifically designed to withstand the toughest dive conditions. It’s been a joy to share my passions with divers all over the country and always look forward to meeting more!”
During Drysuit night, Ashley will go over Argonaut Drysuits and will bring several pieces of gear to show. If you are interested in getting a fitting for a custom drysuit, please register beforehand so, we can get you on the list! This is event is for all certification levels from those who are interested in learning more about drysuits and for those who are already looking for a drysuit and want to learn more about custom drysuits and the advantages.
Please RSVP for this event so, we have enough food for everyone.
Every other month, Adventure Outfitters brings local experts to the area to talk about Florida-related topics – whether it be diving or related to the Florida environment. In some areas around the states, dive clubs are more formalized but in Florida, everyone has so many activities to choose from so, we created Zendog Divers. Zendog Divers is an informal dive club for all divers, snorkelers and advocates of the ocean / waterways. Our mission is focused on local Florida diving including: safety, marine conservation and continuing dive education. We try to have a guest speaker once a month join us. If you are interested in participating in our monthly guest lecture series, please reach out to us at [email protected] or give us a call at 813-832-6669.
