🔥 DRUNKEN HEARTS & FRIENDS | ALBUM FUNDRAISER 🔥
Friday, May 22 | 6-9pm
Wibby Brewing | Longmont
We’re stepping into the biggest chapter the band has ever taken on - a brand new record with multi-Grammy award-winning producer Steve Berlin of Los Lobos at the helm!
This isn’t just another show - it's about bringing our new record to life!
We're calling on our community and all the people who’ve been with us from the start, in the bars, on the road, and in every late night along the way - it's time to help us take the next big step!
Friends joining us for the night:
Andy Thorn (Leftover Salmon)
Steve Berlin (Los Lobos)
Dan Andree (Clay Street Unit)
w/ Lauren Nershi opening the show.
Proceeds from the evening go directly toward recording costs. If you’ve ever believed in the band - this is the night to show up and contribute. Come be part of what comes next!
Drunken Hearts is the alt-country/Americana outfit led by Louisiana-born, Colorado-raised songwriter Andrew McConathy. Bottling outlaw country grit, poetic storytelling, and cosmic rock energy into a sound carrying rocky mountain starlight, southern heat, and the ache of old souls - Drunken Hearts’ music feels like prayer and wildfire at the same time. After years on the road and a journey through loss and rebirth, McConathy sings with an unflinching voice, shaped but not broken by pain and suffering, rooted somewhere between wonder and the highs and lows of the human experience.
Drawing from his southern roots and mountain wide-open sky, McConathy writes with gravitational heart, hope, clarity, and spirit. The band's latest single, “The Other Side,” featuring Bonnie Sims (Big Richard / Everybody Loves an Outlaw), is a punch of truth - a tribute to founding drummer Ted Welles and a reckoning with memory that marks the start of something fierce. A testament to resilience, rebirth, and the place where truth meets twang, Drunken Hearts makes music built on stories - honest, human, and unafraid.
“A psychedelic, outlaw-country outfit who evoke the best of songwriters like Townes Van Zandt and Steve Earle colored with classic rock flourishes reminiscent of the Allman Brothers, Neil Young, and Tom Petty.” - Americana-UK

Lauren Nershi -
Lauren Nershi is a singer songwriter shaped by a lifetime immersed in music. Raised in a home where songs were as constant as conversation, she began by singing and playing various instruments alongside her parents. When she was seven years old, she made her stage debut at the Bowery ballroom in New York City and toured with “Honkytonk Homeslice.”
Lauren attended the Denver School for the Arts as a vocal student during her junior & high school years. Since then, she has performed with “The Nershi Hann Trio”and “The Ghost Town Drifters”.
Having been raised in such close proximity to a vibrant, musical community and constantly surrounded by working musicians, she naturally grew a deep love for storytelling through songwriting.
Lauren blends influences from Bluegrass, classic rock, jam bands, outlaw country, and Americana into a sound that feels both rooted and personal.
Her current project is “The Nershis” along with her parents Bill and Jilian. Now, she is able to showcase her own songs as well as her guitar skills and those big family harmonies. “ Their album “Songs For The Road” will be released in 2026 through SCIFidelity Records.
Now, Lauren is carving out her own path marking an exciting new chapter in her evolution as a songwriter and solo performer.
