Based in Minneapolis, Wayne Manthey is a seasoned craftsman with over 33 years of experience in making exquisite drums from rawhide and wood.
What to Expect In this workshop, you’ll embark on a creative journey, guided by Wayne’s patient and expert instruction. You’ll learn the traditional techniques of drum making, working with animal hides such as elk or deer, and have the opportunity to accessorize your drum with natural elements like antlers and rocks, making it truly personal.
Whether you’ve always dreamed of making a drum or are simply looking for a special and connecting experience, this workshop offers a unique opportunity.
