It's time to drum. Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc has invited everyone to join them on September 30th, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation / Orange Shirt Day, at 2:15pm to honour all the missing children of former residential schools by joining our voices in the Sewépemc Honour Song. #DrumForTheChildren
1:30pm Gather at Lafarge Lake, at the Community Plaza on the East side of the lake. Parking at Town Centre, Coquitlam; Skytrain to Lafarge-Douglas.
2:00pm Learn the Sewépemc Honour Song
2:15pm Drum and sing for the children
Please wear your masks and gather safely.
Plaza is covered, but dress for the weather- this is an outdoors gathering.
If you don't have a drum, come sing and join your voice in unity with the community.
