About this Event
These workshops go one step deeper than the drumming circles and are for all.
Our drums are our greatest allies. They can help and support us in our personal journey and spiritual growth. They can help others heal and they can bring a community together to create big shifts.
On this retreat day we’ll be taking a deeper dive into how we can connect with our drum and work with it to connect to more to ourselves and the spirit world.
During the afternoon we'll take a dip into the following:
• exploring journeys and how to take ourselves and others on a journey visiting the upper world and lower world.
• use our drums to connect with our power animals and spirit guides.
• working with our drums to discover our ancestral voices in community.
• utilising the power of the drum for healing.
• connecting to the spirit of our drum.
• And using a drumming circle to create energetic shifts using intention.
This workshop is for those who would like to form a deeper relationship with our drum and learn techniques to explore the potential for this amazing ally.
Bring your drum if you have one (we’ll be working with shamanic style drums - sometimes called frame drums) or you can borrow one from me on the day if your drum is yet to find you. I'll bring plenty of spare drums.
Refunds: no refunds are available unless someone from the waiting list takes the place before 48 hours of the workshop.
Emma Hewitt has had a 20 year career working in Community Arts. After falling in love with drums and drumming in 2020 after making her first drum and drumming all the way through the pandemic Emma understands the power of drums for health, wellbeing and spiritual connection.
Emma has undertaken multiple shamanic trainings and uncovered more and more of the ways that drums can be used and support us on our journey.
In this workshop Emma is delighted to be able to share some of the knowledge she has acquired over a 4 year drum affair with drums and drumming.
