Participate in an African/Latin/Native drum circle in a fun afternoon with Drum IowaJoin Drum Iowa and Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha) for a lively drum circle. Don’t forget your drums! (We also will have instruments available for you to borrow.) You don’t need to be a magnificent drummer or musician to enjoy this fun afternoon, and you are by no means obligated to participate. Spectators are welcome, and we’ll have you drumming in no time!
Feel free to arrive at 1 p.m. to explore our 67 acres of land, walk the outdoor labyrinth or commune with other drummers. The drum circle will begin at 2.
Registration is not necessary. This is a free event for all to enjoy, but there is a suggested donation of $15, which will be accepted at the door.
