Join us for a day in deep ceremony, as we craft your very own frame drum and beater. No experience or craftyness needed.

This is a wonderful day for those that use drums in their personal lives or work lives or wish to bring the drum into their lives! Some hear the call of the drum way before and some wonder why they are there but feel a pull.
The drum is perfect for those interested in sound healing or shamanic work but is equally as valuable to yoga practitioners, cacao facilitators, musicians and those with a person interest in drumming.
You will arrive and land in our sacred space. We will set our intentions and ground before connecting to our hoops and hides. Then once ready we will measure and cut the pieces, then bring them together to birth your drum. You can add a crystal to the centre of the handle if you wish. Once birthed we will create your beater and finally journey to meet the spirit of your drum.
No crafty experience is needed, Melonie is a patient and skilled drum maker and will support each person with their own drum birthing journey.
Upon booking you will receive an information sheet including what to bring with you. We will each bring a dish to share for lunch and feast!
