This family, support and friends session will cover key drugs like ketamine, cannabis and benzos, as well as strategies for reducing harm.
During this session, we will talk through harm reduction strategies, the health risks (and myths) of specific drugs, early interventions and important emerging trends.
Drugs covered will include:
- Ketamine
- Cannabis (and synthetic cannabinoids or 'spice')
- MDMA
- Synthetic Opioids
- Benzodiazepines
Course Objectives:
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Discuss drug harm reduction with friends, support and family
- Explain why early intervention for ketamine is important
- Highlight signs of drug emergencies
