Drugs & Alcohol Awareness for practitioners working with children, young people and families
Join us for an informative online workshop where we'll explore drugs and alcohol. Learn about the latest trends, health implications, and the law, how to support young people in making healthy choices and where to access information and support.
This event is appropriate for anyone working with children, young people and families.
The content will support the delivery of Personal, Social and Helth Education (PSHE) in schools, and is also beneficial for practitioners working with children and families who may be experimenting with drugs and/or alcohol, or are at risk of pressure or influence from peers.
The aim of this training is to increase knowledge of practitioners who work with young people to confidently discuss drugs and alcohol. The training will enable you to identify different substances and to be able to help support the young people you work with.
You will learn more about the current trends and what you can so as a practitioner to support young people.
