About this Event
Inspired by Noor’s debut zine Creative Chaos, this workshop celebrates the beauty of making art without rules. You’re invited to create your own zine-poster using gentle, emotive prompts, or follow your intuition and create freely.
There’s no right or wrong way to take part — whether your piece is messy, meaningful, or unfinished, it’s all welcome. By the end, you’ll have a personalised visual narrative to take home with you.
Free to all to attend, sign up is encouraged!
Date: Saturday 7th February
Time: 1pm - 4pm (Exhibition space open before and after)
Location: The Old Post Office, Tontine Street, Folkestone
Noor Majid
Noor is a Graphic Designer and artist who created her social channel, Design Draw Do, as an outlet to share her creative journey. Her work reflects the honest, and human evolution of making art — embracing exploration and imperfection over polished outcomes. Noor has also led in-person and online creative workshops for adults and children.
With over 7 years of experience in design and art, including a degree in architecture, Noor continues to experiment across mediums, increasingly pushing herself to find ‘more’. Her current focus is on graphic-novel style diary drawings, generated by introspection and meditation. This work has already led to a self-published zine exploring ADHD, and she hopes to expand into a graphic novel one day.
