At OKCMOA, celebrate the opening of "The Sense of Beauty: Six Centuries of Painting from Museo de Arte de Ponce" by creating your own miniature work of art.Using Maria de Mater O’Neill’s painting "Patio" as inspiration, visitors are invited to reflect on a moment, object, or scene from everyday life that represents beauty to them. Using colored pencils and permanent markers, you’ll draw your image onto Shrinky Dink paper. Then, watch Museum staff shrink your design into a tiny keepsake. Visitors can choose to display their finished piece on a miniature easel or transform it into a keychain or necklace to take on the go.
Pre-registration is not required. This program is free with admission and for Museum members. Not a member? Join today!
