About this Event
Plague doctors wore masks to protect themselves from the deadly plague. But since the plague spread through pesky fleas, their masks didn’t do much to protect them.
Today we wear masks to stop airborne viruses from spreading, and they do work!
Come and learn all about masks – why they have been worn throughout history and why we wear them now. Get involved and make your own germs and plague mask!
All ages welcome
