Join us for the Father Bradley Shelter’s Drive-Thru Housewarming Shower, a community tradition that helps women transitioning out of the shelter start their next chapter with dignity and hope.When a resident secures stable housing after completing her time at the shelter, our community comes together to “shower” her with essential household items to help turn her new apartment into a home.
Instead of a traditional shower, supporters simply drive through and drop off donations from the Amazon or Walmart wish list. Volunteers will be on hand to collect items from your vehicle, making it quick and easy to participate.
Donations typically include items such as:
• Cleaning supplies
• Kitchen essentials
• Towels and bedding
• Laundry detergent
• Paper products
• Household basics
This event is a beautiful example of how our community supports women rebuilding their lives after experiencing homelessness.
Every donation helps ensure that when a resident leaves the shelter, she does so with the tools she needs for a successful fresh start.
