Drink, draw, and dream up your very own wine label in a relaxed, creative evening at Palate Bottle Shop in Shoreham‑by‑Sea, hosted by Adur Art Collective. It’s a chance to play with ideas, sip something delicious, and let your imagination wander.
🍷 What makes the setting special
Palate is an award‑winning independent bottle shop and tasting room right in the heart of Shoreham‑by‑Sea. They specialise in artisan wines, craft beers, ciders, and spirits, and from Thursday to Sunday the space transforms into a cosy micro wine bar. Expect an ever‑changing list of wines by the glass, plus the option to enjoy anything from the shelves or fridge with corkage.
🎨 Who’s guiding the creativity
The session is led by artist and designer Lois Pawson, whose background spans illustration, branding, and marketing. Early in her career she spent three years working with Moët & Chandon (LVMH) in the UK, and she collects antique 'bottle tickets' from the days before labels were commonly used. She’s worked on design for commercial, packaging and labelling projects and has trained specifically in wine label design - so you’ll be in good hands.
