The College Gather Top is one of those sewing patterns that suits absolutely everyone — relaxed, wearable, flattering and easy to style for any age.
In this workshop, you’ll create your own version while developing beautiful, confident gathering skills.
What you’ll learn:
🧵 How to sew neat, even gathers
✂️ How to control fullness and distribute fabric correctly
🪡 Tips for working with lightweight cottons and patchwork fabrics
📏 How to lengthen the pattern to create a tunic-style top
You can keep your top classic and simple, or go bold with patchwork fabric for something completely unique. If you prefer a little extra coverage, we’ll show you how to extend the length to turn it into a stylish tunic.
This class is suitable for confident beginners and beyond. You should be comfortable using a sewing machine and sewing basic seams.
