The Dream Expo is an event dedicated to inspiring the next generation of healthcare providers. This unique occasion will bring together enthusiastic middle school students from underrepresented backgrounds, where they will be immersed in the fascinating world of advanced healthcare careers. Our goal is to not only educate these young minds about the diverse opportunities within the healthcare industry but also to make the learning experience memorable and enjoyable. A key feature of the event is the "Healthcare Provider Speed Networking" session. This will involve healthcare providers interacting with small groups of middle school students, sharing insights about their role, practice site, and career path.
The youth will also work with health professions college students from the area's colleges/university where they will engage in hands on learning experiences. Parents will participate in workshops tailored to their needs. The day will end with a dance party, games, giveaways and other fun activities. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
