Drawn to Reading Book Club

Calling all graphic novel, manga and anime fans!

Do you love talking about your favorite books and characters? Want to create your own comics? Join Drawn to Reading, a monthly book club where tweens ages 10 to 12 can share what they’re reading, discover new favorites and get creative with fun comic-making activities. No assigned book — just bring your favorite graphic novel, manga or comic to discuss! Plus, we’ll provide templates and resources to help you create your own comics.

Note: A signed City waiver is required to participate. For minors, a parent or guardian must complete and submit the waiver at the event. Waivers are available at the Library or online at Altamonte.org/Library. Once submitted, the waiver remains on file and does not need to be resubmitted.
