About this Event
In this workshop we will discover some of the possible ways we can apply these soft (or hard) pastels on a paper. For this, I'll make a short demonstration on my camera, then we will see some examples. Afterwards, I will show some reference images so that you choose one to work from and do your own version.
It's not necessary to have all sort of colors, with just a few it will be ok this time. So, you need to have some soft pastels (the ones that are similar to chalk -not the oil ones- in sticks or pencils, a piece of cloth/cotton fabric to clean, some tissue/towel paper, kneaded eraser, a couple of sheets of paper with some tooth/texture, can be toned/coloured paper. WAYS TO DRAW and Paint are a series of art classes online, especially for beginners and anyone who wants to learn different ways of drawing and painting, since there isn't only one, as there isn't only one way to do things in life. In each class we will also be experimenting with different media: (i.e. graphite, colored pencils , pastels, charcoal, ball and fountain pens, markers, gouache, acrylics, etc.)
The classes are in English but some Spanish language can be spoken.
