Mondays from 6:30pm-9:00pm | May 25-June 15 (4 weeks)
Learn techniques for creating fibre drawings using needle felting, stitching, and appliqué to create your own images on a selection of wool surfaces. You'll learn how to prepare wool roving and various embroidery stitches that lend well to a drawing approach as well as how to create texture and dimension in your pieces using felt shapes and yarns. You can work from a reference photo, sketch, or your imagination with guidance from the instructor. We'll also take a look at ways to finish your work with edging details, backings, and other applications.
